Soft Greens and Botanical Details for a Spring Celebration
Meredith and Gray’s wedding stationery is a great example of how much a semi-custom design can evolve. What began with an existing suite in a completely different color palette was thoughtfully reimagined around their vision of soft greens and blues, crisp whites, botanical details, textile inspiration, and subtle coastal charm. Working alongside Saltcore Designs, we created a cohesive paper story that carried the couple’s clean, natural aesthetic from the invitation suite through the wedding day details.
Meredith and Gray came to us with a clear preference for a neutral, nature-inspired palette with soft greens, white, light blue accents, and wood details inspired by their venue, Surf Golf & Beach Club. Specialty linens were an early source of inspiration, leading us to incorporate a green and white ticking stripe pattern into the envelope liner.

2. From Sketches to Artwork
Meredith and Gray's suite began as one of our semi-custom designs. The original suite featured a much bolder palette of pinks and green, a different watercolor botanical style, and a more simple, traditional overall look. Using that existing design as a starting point, we reworked the artwork, typography, colors, and layout to create something that felt completely different—and much more reflective of Meredith and Gray’s vision.

3. Selecting Materials
The materials were chosen to feel elevated without competing with the natural setting. Green envelopes, crisp white paper, soft green and blue insert cards, and patterned liners created understated details while giving Meredith and Gray’s semi-custom suite a clean and refined feel.

4. Final Proof
Every custom suite goes through multiple proof rounds before printing. This is where the smallest refinements happen. Margins are adjusted, typography is fine-tuned, colors are balanced, and every card is reviewed individually and as part of the complete suite. Because custom stationery is highly collaborative, this stage ensures the final product reflects exactly what the couple envisioned before production begins.
During the proofing stage, we focused on creating balance between the different shades of green, the light blue accents, and the striped envelope liner. Each piece was reviewed as part of the larger suite to ensure the typography, patterns, and illustrations felt cohesive. We love how much this suite evolved from its semi-custom foundation!
5. Printing & Production
Once the final design was approved, each piece was produced with careful attention to color, paper, and the layered details that brought the design together. The completed invitation suite became the visual foundation for the wedding day stationery, allowing the same refined aesthetic to carry naturally into the reception.

Meredith and Gray’s suite is a perfect example of the versatility of semi-custom wedding stationery. Starting with a semi-custom design doesn’t mean your invitations have to look like the original sample—it simply gives us a thoughtfully designed foundation that can be customized, refined, and transformed to suit your own wedding. Their final suite shares very little visually with where it began, proving just how much personality and individuality can be brought into a semi-custom collection.
For the day-of items, soft green paper, delicate botanical artwork, striped accents, and elegant typography worked alongside Willow Event Design’s florals to create a cohesive wedding day experience.
