Wedding Invites: 3 Piece or 5 Piece?
The 3 piece set includes an invitation card, details card and envelope. The 3 piece sets are perfect for those who are doing an online RSVP on their wedding website. The details card in this set would include “instructions” on RSVPing online and your website link. You could also choose to include a QR code on the details card so guests can just scan the code and be redirected to your website. Definitely be cautious of elderly guests who may not have the ability to do this.
The 5-piece set includes an invitation card, details card, rsvp card, and two corresponding envelopes. These sets are ideal for guests who want to A.) have a mail-in RSVP card for your guests to fill out and mail back to you or B.) have a separate card for RSVP information. The 5 piece set is also ideal for those who want to include a lot of information on their details card such as transportation, accommodations, etc. This will ensure you have ample room so things don’t look too cluttered/messy on the details card.
