When should I order my wedding invitations?

enter your wedding date and immediately see when you need to order and send wedding invitations and save-the-dates

Here's how to order:

1. Make your selections

Once you’ve decided which wedding invitation design you like, select your quantity, choose a 3-piece or 5-piece set, and say “yes” or “no” to envelope liners. From there, add to your cart and check out. Remember, envelope addressing & envelope color changes are FREE for all Invitation Shop orders.

2. Complete your questionnaire

After placing your order, you’ll get an email from me with a questionnaire that asks you all about your wedding details. From here, I’ll get to work on your digital proofs, and we’ll go back and forth on revisions as many times as you need to make them absolutely PERFECT.

3. Approve your designs

Once your digital proofs have your stamp of approval, the production phase begins (AKA, printing your invites, cutting envelope liners, creating the wax seals, even rounding corners and curating vintage postage sets – ya know, the works!).

4. Assembly and pop the bubbly!

When production is complete & I’ve shipped your invitations to you unassembled, it’s time for an envelope-stuffing party! You’ll receive instructions from me on how to assemble, the postage you’ll need, and when they need to be in the mail.

What makes Julia Kay Design different:

Uncapped revisions during your 1:1 design experience

So you never have to wonder whether those 12 revision requests will be enough to make your invites absolutely perfect and error-free.

Free envelope addressing & envelope color changes

Because the only extra task you should have to worry about during your envelope-stuffing party is how to simultaneously dance it out to Taylor Swift & sip your bubbly without spilling on your invites.

Locally sourced materials & local print vendors

I pride myself on using only the highest-quality materials for my couples, and working with local vendors allows me to do so while supporting my fellow small business owners in the Easton, Pennsylvania area.

Entirely hand-crafted invitations & design elements

When you receive your Julia Kay Design wedding invitations, you can trust that they’re actually made by Julia Kay (hey, that’s me!). I don’t rely on big production companies to print suites, create the wax seals, or even cut envelope liners – each beautiful feature and component is handmade with love by yours truly.
