3 Tips to Save Money on Your Wedding Invitations

3 Tips to Save Money on Your Wedding Invitations

Want to save money on your wedding invitations? Here are my 3️⃣ expert tips to help you save 👀‼️✨

1️⃣ Know your guest and HOUSEHOLD count 👏 Do not order 1 invitation set per guest. You should order one per household! If there is a family of 4 living under the same roof then they will only receive 1 invitation suite! Ordering one per guest can truly double or triple your invitation count ‼️

2️⃣ Have an online-only RSVP. How does this save money? Eliminating a separate RSVP card eliminates the cost of the RSVP card, RSVP envelope ANDDDD the postage for your RSVP envelope! That can be almost $1.30 per suite! ✉️💰For 100 invitation suites, that’s $130 you could be saving!

3️⃣ Opt out of envelope liners. If you have the choice for an envelope liner but you realllly need to save some cash, I would recommend opting out of the envelope liners! Liners are more expensive than people think because 1. They are custom cut pieces and 2. They are large prints. Opting out of envelope liners in my semi-custom wedding invitation line saves you $0.90 per set!!!! 👀🫢 For 100 invitation suites, that’s $90 you could be saving!

4️⃣ And I’ll throw in a 4th tip just because… another big way to save money is to keep the weight of your invitation suite down. If each individual set is above 1oz. in weight you will be required to have $1.01 of postage as opposed to $0.73. For 100 invitation suites, that’s almost $30 you could be saving! Ways to keep your weight down: avoid thick ribbons, wax seals, additional cards, photo inserts, and weird shapes (i.e. square envelopes).
