Julia Kay Design was honored to be part of a touching free wedding giveaway hosted by Local Life Magazine out of Charlotte, NC, for two remarkable winners, Kirsten and Al. Their wedding, planned by the talented Hitched Charlotte team, took place on September 15, 2024, at the beautiful 601 Milestone Venue in Concord, NC.
Kirsten and Al’s story is one of resilience, dedication, and love. While they served overseas defending our country—one stationed in the Middle East and the other in the Horn of Africa—the Charlotte community came together to ensure their wedding day was nothing short of magical. Their selfless service inspired dozens of local vendors to provide their services free of charge, making their special day a true labor of love.

For Kirsten and Al, I customized my Bright & Bold Greenery Semi-Custom Suite, tailoring the design to match their wedding theme and color palette. The vibrant greenery design paired beautifully with their vision, creating an invitation suite that perfectly captured their personalities and the joyous celebration ahead.
Being part of this event was a humbling experience, and I am grateful to have contributed to their once-in-a-lifetime celebration.
