What Should I Include on my Wedding Invitation Details Card?

What Should I Include on my Wedding Invitation Details Card?

1. Your Ceremony and/or Reception Venue Address

I always leave the full address for your details card to keep your main invitation card looking clean! Make sure you provide the address that guests should use in their GPS to avoid any confusion!

2. Wedding Website URL or QR Code

If you have a wedding website that will include more information for your guests, make sure you provide your URL! If your URL is super long, please do everyone a favor and turn it into a QR code :)

3. Accommodations Information

If you have a hotel block for your guests, the details card is the perfect place to share that information with them! Make sure to include the dates that the block is available for, when they must reserve by, and any other specific info. they may need to easily reserve.

If they can only reserve online, this is another great time to utilize a QR code.

4. Transportation Information

If you are providing transportation from your hotel to the venue, you should provide your guests with the specifics through your details card.

Useful info for your guests may be what time the shuttle is leaving and returning, how many trips are there, where they need to be to be picked up, etc.

5. Adults-only Affair

If you are opting for an adults-only affair, the details card is the perfect place to explain this.

Some of my favorite ways to say "adults-only" are:

"As much as we love your children, we kindly request an adults-only celebration."

"To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend the reception."

"We love your kids but thought you might like a night off. Adults only please!"
