Earthy Tones Spring Wedding Inspiration
Earthy tones (and I mean the bright and cheery earthy tones, not the dull ones) have to be one of my favorite wedding color palette trends currently. These colors are so perfect for spring weddings and truly look so amazing pulled together! Below are some beautiful inspiration photos paired with the invitation suite from my Invitation Shop that I think would go best with this theme and color palette.
COLOR PALETTE:
If this were my wedding, I would use the peach and mustard colors as my primary colors. By this I mean, I would incorporate the peach and mustard into my florals, decor, and bridesmaids dresses. I would have the cream and green colors be secondary and used to warm up the space. The cream and green would mainly be used as a detail such as small florals in the bouquets and I would definitely have lots of greenery at the ceremony and reception to really tie the green in. The cream would also be the background color for all signage and paper goods. Cream would also be incorporated in the bigger floral pieces with pampas grass and other bohemian floral pieces.
INVITATION SUITE:
For this specific wedding color palette and theme I would choose my Hayley invitation suite from the Invitation Shop. I would go with this suite because the coloring already perfectly matches and no color change would be necessary. The handwritten script font used would also be used throughout all of the other wedding paper goods and signage so that everything had a cohesive look. I also love how the invitation suite incorporates the cream color in the envelopes for a nice subtle touch. The invitation suite isn't too bold or bright because the florals and decor take care of that so I want an invitation suite that offsets the bold colors :)
TABLE DECOR:
I would definitely incorporate the bold colors of this palette by using mix-and-match drinking flutes as shown in the photos above. Glassware brings such a beautiful touch to the place settings and I think it would really add something to the tables! (no matter what the color palette is, I might add.) I would also include floral center pieces that include the peach and mustard colors, with greenery too obviously. Lastly, I would have a table runner whether it is mustard colored or cream colored as shown in the photos above. I think the color of the table runner would depend on the floral centerpieces and how simple or extravagant they are. I really love the simplicity of the center pieces in the first photo and I think they pair really beautifully with the mustard table runner, however, I wouldn't pair a centerpiece like the one shown in the 3rd photo with a bold table runner.
Stay tuned for future wedding inspiration posts where I pair the wedding theme with one of my invitation suites. What wedding theme/color palette should I do next?!
Xoxo,
Julia
